BAY BREEZE IT IS!

The new project coming to Pleasantville, NJ is at this point named Bay Breeze (that could change). It will be manufactured homes 14 in number twin style residences and six single residences. If you’ve been reading the blog, you know that California Commons is unfortunately a BUST and the City of Pleasantville is moving forward. Bay Breeze is not necessarily replacing California Commons but hopefully the coming of this project will ease the frustrations of the approved owners knowing that there is something to look forward to. It’s difficult enough to make such a financial investment because it is an emotional decision, and when you have the company you signed the contract with not answering calls or keeping you informed, it makes it hard to trust so hopefully my blog has done a little something to ease the tension.

Anyway, Onward and Upward to Bay Breeze we go. Thank you for continuing to read and stop by soon as I get more information I will share.

Have a GREAT THANKSGIVING EVERYONE. Until next post :).

UPDATE: CALIFORNIA COMMONS IS NO MORE! The Headache is OVER~~

images (46)Well at least for one year. I just spoke to the UEZ office and unfortunately the project has been pushed back for at least One Year because of complications involving Mr Kahan and other parties.

The office of UEZ is sorry to report the delay of the California Commons project. I don’t have all of the details however, it will be at least one year at this point until they even break ground.

Well, since we must move on, and this has caused many a headache. The pain is over and there is another project on the horizon. I am expecting a call from a gentlemen today and will have more information so check back soon.

DON’T PAY MONEY TO GET MONEY!

4561615964034603581Don’t Do It! In a Word “SCAM”. It is a SCAM if you are asked to send money to any individual or organization in order to receive money. This money that you are asked to send may be described as a “fee” for the processing of the application. This “fee” will go into the pocket of the individual or corporation who is making the call. Also, be aware that most of the time these companies will have the name “Federal” in their name. This is designed to give you a false sense of security to trust the company or individual to lull you into thinking that you are speaking with a company or individual that is affiliated with the Government. The Government will not ask you to send money to them in order to receive money. That is, in most cases, against the law. The problem however is this law is not enforced until a large number of people have been victimized and file enough complaints that will get the attention of the Attorney General of the State where the money is being received.

If you have a low credit score and are in the market for mortgage to buy a home, car or some other large investment, DO NOT send any organization or individual any money because they make you think that is the only way to solve the problem because of your low credit score. If you feel that this is a legitimate program, then do your due diligence. Google the name of the company, website and phone number to see what comes up. Use the word “complaints” or “scam” in your text and see what comes up. You can also research the company on the bbb.org site. Also, ask your friends or family.

BEWARE OF ANY PROGRAM CALLED THE FEDERAL LOYALTY GRANT. IT IS A SCAM.

If you want to improve your credit score and are not sure how to get started, respond to this post and I will send you a FREE REPORT, “KNOW YOUR NUMBERS KIT” to get you on the path to a better credit score.

Remember, never pay money to get money!

Atlantic City’s Borgata Wins $50 Million Tax Appeal

images (46)imagesCAU0UOCMOuch! Atlantic City’s tax assessor assessed the 2009 and 2010 value of The Borgata at $50 million and wanted to get paid. However, the appraiser hired by the Borgata gave some other numbers — $880 million and $870 million, respectively and in his 64-page ruling, Judge Patrick DeAlmeida, agreed with Borgata and not the City of Atlantic City’s solicitor, Attorney Littlefield that the assessment value placed on the property ($2.26 billion) is not accurate.

Who will this hurt, if anyone? Well the taxpayers of course. If other casinos seek to do the same and win (which they could), the only ones left to pay the shortfall would be the taxpayers in Atlantic City. Ouch! That sucks.
