THANKFUL!

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, we’re thinking about (or we should be) the things that we are thankful for. With the recent attacks in Paris, being thankful for not having been a victim in that horrible scenario quickly comes to mind. large black family

My heart goes out to all of the families who either lost a loved one or a loved one was injured. Even with the injured, their families are certainly grateful  and thankful that they can take them home after a hospital stay.

We are in the month of November in 2015. It seems like just yesterday it was January 1, 2015 and here we are almost ready to say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016. I don’t know about you– time seems to be moving very quickly to me. In one month and 10 days, it will be January 1, 2016! All of us have so much to be thankful for as we move toward the Thanksgiving holiday coming up. The families traveling to be closer to one another, friends reuniting who haven’t seen each other in a year or two, baby showers being planned for the new arrivals on the planet, wedding plans being made for 2016, graduations coming up in June 2016. I could go on however I think you see the pattern starting to emerge.

Despite the recent tragedy in Paris, Life does go on and although those who lost their lives or were injured in that horrible event, there is still a lot to be thankful for.

It is my sincere hope that as each of us sitsthanksgiving down with our family and friends this Thanksgiving that we remember how thankful we should be to be able to partake of the love and laughter of those we are with because the victims of the Paris tragedy who were mortally wounded are no longer with their families this Thanksgiving.

Wishing you & your family a Happy Thanksgiving~~
