Comparing Single Family Residential sales from May 2010 to May 2011 how have Atlantic County sellers fared? Well, let’s break it down a bit shall we? 218,250 homes were sold in May 2010 vs. 214,500 in May 2011. This represents a 2% drop in median sold price.(1)  What does this mean for the current seller in Atlantic County, NJ in this market? It means that the median price (midpoint) of properties for sale has fallen by seven percent. Sellers may have to be prepared to face the unfortunate reality that they will have to set their listing price  lower than they may have wanted to.  This is an unfortunate truth in this market.
